Named after the Moravian count who helped establish Salem a century before, the Zinzendorf was completed in 1892 and featured all of the modern amenities: electricity, elevators, and hot water.

She was the most luxurious hotel in the Southeast at the time, but suffered a devastating fire only 6 months after opening. We pay tribute to the Zinzendorf's enduring legacy...the "Wonder of the West End".
