Born as the Easley Cookie Company in 1925, this Winston-Salem bakery was purchased by an employee a year later and eventually rebranded as the Royal Cake Company. On the success of their popular cream-filled oatmeal cookies, swiss rolls, and brownies, Royal expanded production and ultimately became a nationwide success story. 

This legendary bakery provided sweet treats for 80 years, befitting a legacy as local royalty.
